Programs and Achievements
Everyone’s recovery process is different. Depending where the veterans are in their own rehabilitative and transitional process, we hope they can find a program that fits them and/or their family’s needs through health and wellness.
Since 2015 we been able to serve hundreds or maybe thousands of veterans through cycling events in Puerto Rico and the U.S.
Accomplishments: La Vuelta Puerto Rico, Med Bike Rally in Puerto Rico, Ride the Rockies, Vuelta A Dillon Colorado, Grand Fondo Florida, Training camp in Maui, Hawaii. Face of America in Washington DC. 2014 we started with 18 veterans in Puerto Rico Gran Fondo. Our goal was to reach more veterans and create more programs for them through Health and Wellness. Since then, we have created adaptive programs in the Island of Puerto Rico with the help of our community partners, our biggest and main partner Adaptive Adventures and Veterans Affairs Puerto Rico. Our organization has been key in the local Puerto Rican community. Running a biweekly adaptive program and help mirror the program in Honolulu, Hawaii, participating in Determination tour since 2016. MTB races and clinics and small participation in hurricane relief for the Island of Puerto Rico. Every year we honor the fallen on Memorial weekend, by doing what we do best honor through cycling. We ride from Barceloneta to Arecibo Puerto Rico.
Warriors 4 Life has essential and key to even to some of the programs created in Colorado for other organizations. We started the indoors cycling program at Bicycle Village in Aurora, Colorado which later was moved to a better and bigger location and since then Adaptive Adventures took over the program. Warriors 4 Life was always consistent in Colorado on Weekly group rides with community partners. Warriors 4 Life has been essential on the recruiting of veterans for one our great partners Adaptive Sport Center in Crested Butte, for one of the most challenging events in Colorado; Ride the Rockies.
Nothing is possible without the help of our community to raise funds for our heroes and help them recover and overcome and that is why we ask for your support.
We appreciate your prompt response and support our families. On behalf of the veteran community and Life Warriors 4 :Thanks for your support and contribution!
